You can earn points by participating in website activities, such as solving puzzles, maintaining a personal Wish List, and answering polls and surveys. It's easy and it's fun. Points can be redeemed for Sony merchandise and used to participate in program activities and sweepstakes, such as the Daily Giveaway and Monthly Dream Prize sweepstakes.
Card Member Advantage: As a Sony Card or PlayStation® Card holder (both referred to herein as “Card”), you are eligible for additional benefits and services.

A: Yes. In fact, Sony Rewards offers special incentives that make it more valuable than ever to use the Card. You can add up to 30 items from the Sony Rewards catalog -- electronics, CDs, DVDs, entertainment and more. You'll earn 50 Rewards Points just for creating your Wish List, plus 25 points each month you update it! (Please note that in order to receive the 25 points for updating your Wish List, it must not contain any discontinued items.)

Earning Sony Rewards Points
9. Q: How do I earn Sony Rewards Points?
A: With Sony Rewards, you have more exciting ways to earn points and more opportunities to win prizes, too. Here are some of the ways you can earn Sony Rewards Points:
- Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy! and Sony Pictures Television Entertainment have activities that let you play along to earn valuable points. Example: If you play the Wheel of Fortune Bonus Puzzle each weekday, you can earn 10 points per game played.
- You can earn 50 points by creating your Wish List of Sony products.
- You can earn 25 points per month by confirming or updating your Wish List, as long as it doesn't contain any discontinued items.
- You can earn a minimum of 10 points by completing a Sony poll or survey.
- You can earn 50 points by completing the Your Profile questionnaire under Your Account.
Card Member Advantage: If you are a Card member, you can earn 5 points for every dollar you spend each time you make a purchase with your Card at SonyStyle.com and Sony retail stores, plus earn 1 point for every dollar you spend on your everyday purchases. 10. Q: Is there a difference between the points I earn through Sony Rewards and those I earn with my Sony Card?
A: Points earned on Sony Rewards and on your Card are pooled and available for use on
www.sonyrewards.com You must register your Card on
www.sonyrewards.com to pool your points. See Question 12 to learn more about points expiration rules.
11. Q: How many points can I earn?
A: There is no limit to the number of Sony Rewards Points you can earn. The more online activities you participate in, the faster your points will add up. Additionally, if you have a Card your point-earning opportunities increase.
12. Q: Do my points expire at the end of a certain time?
A: You earn Sony Rewards Points on a calendar year basis. You can use your points at any time during the year they were earned and also for an additional three-month period in the following year. Unless you are a Card holder, at the end of this three-month grace period, the points earned in the previous calendar year will expire.
Example: In 2010, you earn 10,000 Sony Rewards Points. You use 5,000 of your points before the end of December, leaving 5,000 points unused at the start of 2011. You will have until March 31st, 2011, to use your remaining 5,000 points from calendar year 2010. And if you wish, you can combine these points with the points you earn in January to March, 2011. At the end of March, 2011, your unused Sony Rewards Points from 2010 will expire -- but any points you have earned in 2011 can still be used throughout the year 2011 and also for an additional three-month grace period in 2012.
Card Member Advantage: As a Card holder, your Sony Rewards Points will expire 5 years from the end of the month in which they were earned. For example, points earned on June 15, 2010, will expire on June 30, 2015. All points expire at 11:59pm ET on the date of expiration. Points are redeemed on a first in/first out basis, so you have plenty of time to select the Sony reward you are most interested in redeeming. Ways to Use Your Sony Rewards Points
13. Q: What can I do with my Sony Rewards Points?
A: Here are some of the ways you can use your Sony Rewards Points:
- You can use your Sony Rewards Points to redeem items in our Sony Rewards catalog.
- You can use them to multiply your chances of winning the Daily Giveaway Prize.
- You can use them to multiply your chances of winning the Monthly Dream Prize.
14. Q: How will my points be used to purchase items from the Sony Rewards Catalog?
A: That's easy. Just select an item from the catalog and put it in your shopping cart. When you proceed to checkout, we'll apply all of your eligible points toward your redemption. If you don't have enough points, you'll be given the opportunity to purchase additional points so that you can get the Sony products you want!

15. Q: Are there Sony Rewards Points redemption restrictions?
A: For Rewards Members who do not have a Card account, the following applies:

For DVD or CD items listed for less than 2,000 points in the Rewards catalog, members can apply a maximum of 200 Sony Rewards Points.

For DVD or CD items greater than 2,001 points but less than 10,000, members can apply a maximum of 500 Sony Rewards Points.

For items that are 10,000 points or less, members are only allowed to apply 500 Sony Rewards Points.

16. Q: What is the "Purchase Credit Option"?

With the Purchase Credit Option, you can use your Card to shop at anySony authorized retailer and apply your accumulated Sony Rewards Points to your purchase to receive a full or partial credit to your Card account.
Here's how it works:
1. Purchase the Sony item(s) you want with your Card at any Sony authorized retailer. 2. Click on the YOUR ACCOUNT tab at the top of the Sony Rewards Website and the "View Purchase Credit Form" link.
3. Fill out the form, print it, and then mail it to the provided address along with a copy of your sales receipt.
4. Once your request is processed, we’ll send you a confirmation email and credit your Card account $1 for every 100 Sony Rewards Points you have available, including the points earned for the purchase you just made, within two billing cycles.

17. Q: Do the point redemption values for gift cards include shipping?
A: Yes. To simplify the checkout process and add more value, we now include shipping and handling in the point redemption values for gift cards, which was previously an additional charge.

Daily Giveaway
22. Q: What is the Daily Giveaway?
A. The Daily Giveaway is a fun activity that gives Sony Rewards members a chance to win something from Sony every weekday they visit our website.
23. Q: How does the Daily Giveaway work?
A: You can enter the Daily Giveaway on the Sony Rewards homepage. Enter the number of points you want to bid in the box next to the question mark and hit Play. Then hold the space bar down until you've got enough power and let go to spin the wheel. The number of points you bid is multiplied by the number the wheel lands on. Points equals entries, so the more you bid, the more chances you have to win. You can bid up to 500 of your Rewards Points a day. If you're not the winner, your points go right back into your account.

24. Q: How will I know if I have won?
A: If you are a winner and you log in to the Sony Rewards Website, you will see a special message to let you know that you've won. The names of the winning members will also be posted on the Recent Winners Tab. If you win one of the three Daily Giveaway prizes, you'll have up to 24 hours to claim your prize. If you do not claim your prize within this period, the prize will be forfeited.
Card Member Advantage: As a Sony Rewards member who is a registered Card holder, you can substitute the posted prize for an item from your Wish List up to $1,000.00 in value. During the online prize claim process, the website will present you with your available options based on product availability and value. Monthly Dream Prize
25. Q: What is the Monthly Dream Prize?
A: A spectacular prize that might include travel and lodging, entertainment, unique experiences behind the scenes with Sony entertainment, Sony electronics products and more.
26. Q: How does the Monthly Dream Prize work?
A: Log onto the Sony Rewards Website, access the Monthly Dream Prize screen from your Activity Checklist and follow the instructions. You can enter the Monthly Dream Prize Sweepstakes once each month. Bid your points just as you do on the Daily Giveaway -- and your bidding maximum will now rise to 1,000 points to multiply your chances of winning. Once you spin the entries wheel, your points are converted to Monthly Dream Prize entries. If you do not win the Monthly Dream Prize, your points are automatically returned to your account.

27. Q: How will I know if I have won?
A: If you are a winner and you log in to the Sony Rewards Website, you will see a special message to let you know that you've won. A: The Deal of the Week gives Sony Rewards members an opportunity to receive substantial savings on a single item selected from Sony merchandise. Sony will make this product available until inventory is depleted. You must have a valid credit or debit card to take advantage of these special savings. Tax and shipping charges apply.
Card Member Advantage: Get weekly specials at pricing even lower than Sony Rewards members, plus earn 5 points for every dollar you spend when you use your Card for your purchase.
29. Q: How do I take advantage of the Deal of the Week?
A: Each week, simply log onto the Sony Rewards Website to see the product available, the price (the price will vary depending upon which product is being offered), and find out how many products are available. Products will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so you should act quickly if you want to take advantage of the Deal of the Week.
30. Q: What is the Reverse Auction?
A: The Reverse Auction gives Sony Rewards members total control in obtaining a great deal once a month on Sony products at the cost you select. The Reverse Auction will be held on the third Wednesday of each month, from 12 noon ET to 10 PM ET.
31. Q: How is the price determined?
A: That's the challenge - you determine the price you want to pay, then follow the Reverse Auction as the price drops each hour. We'll let you know as the quantity of available products diminishes. The challenge will be how long you should wait to obtain the product at the price you wish.
32. Q: How does the bidding work in a Reverse Auction?
A: That's the easy part -- you don't have to bid. Follow the progress of the auction, and if you want the product being offered at the low price available that hour, you can buy it. If you wait for the price to drop even lower in the following hour, the supply of products may be exhausted and you'll have to wait for next month's auction. You must have a valid credit or debit card to take advantage of these special savings. Tax and shipping charges apply.

Digital Downloads
33. Q: How do I get download credits?
A: Simply visit the "Digital Downloads" section of the Sony Rewards catalog, where you’ll see audio downloads available in increments of 10, 20 and 25. You’ll also see video downloads available in increments of 5, 10 and 20.
34. Q: What is a download credit?
A: One download credit is equal to one download. If you purchase 10 Audio download credits, you’ll be able to download 10 songs from our download service. If you purchase 5 Video download credits, you’ll be able to download 5 videos from our download service.
35. Q: Do I have to use all of my credits at once?
A: No. If you have any remaining credits, you can visit the download service at a later date to download more. Remember to keep the email confirming the downloads you redeemed, since you will need to click on the link within the email to return to the download service.
36. Q: How do I get to the download service?
A: The easiest way to get to the download service website is to click on the "Click here to download now" link from your confirmation email.
37. Q: What happens if I lost my confirmation email?
A: Don’t worry if you misplaced the email. Simply login to Sony Rewards, navigate to your order history in the My Account section and click on the "Click here to download now" link. You’ll be redirected to the download service, which will display your remaining credits.
38. Q: Can I just bookmark the download service website?
A: Unfortunately, no. You’ll need to access the download service either through our emails or your order history page. This is to ensure that the proper number download credits are posted to your account.
39. Q: Can I download music and videos from the same site?
A: At this time, you must visit different sites to download your music and video. So, be sure to click on the appropriate link to access the downloads you want.
40. Q: What are the computer configuration requirements to use the Sony Rewards Downloads Service?
A: You must have a PC running Windows, Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser and the Windows Media Player software in order to use the Sony Rewards Downloads Service. Other computers, such as Macintosh, and software, such as Mozilla Firefox may cause incompatibility problems.
41. Q: Can I use the Sony Rewards Downloads Service with an iPod?
A: Our download service provides files in the WMA music format or the WMV video format, which is not supported by Macintosh or iPod. iPods and iTunes use a proprietary file format and do not recognize protected WMA files. To use your music with an iPod, simply follow the steps below:
Step 1: Save each downloaded song to your PC.
Step 2: Burn a music CD (in CDA file format).
Step 3: Import the music from the CD into iTunes

2. Q: Where can I find the Wheel of Fortune Daily Bonus Puzzle?

To set Wheel Watchers Club as your home page, so that the Wheel Watchers Club loads as soon as you login: Go to the YOUR ACCOUNT section and then click on Update Homepage Settings in the YOUR PROFILE section. A: Wheel Watchers Club members can earn privileged status levels - and additional benefits - by correctly completing the Bonus Round Puzzle Solution online each weekday. Simply watch Wheel of Fortune each weeknight (Monday - Friday) and then go to the Wheel Watchers Club on the Sony Rewards Website before 5 p.m. ET the following day to enter the Bonus Round Puzzle Solution for that show. You will receive ten (10) Sony Rewards Points for each Bonus Round Puzzle Solution you successfully complete. 20. Q: Do I have to pay taxes if I am a winner?
